Linda Armstrong studied painting at the Art Students League of New York and printmaking at Binghamton University.  Her paintings are exhibited widely in both national and international exhibits and have won awards in more than 30 juried exhibits. Her work is in the collections of New York State Council of the Arts, NYSEG, Canada Dry Corporation, Binghamton University Art Museum, SUNY Broome, Wilson Sporting Goods, Haworth Press, Roberson Center and other public and private collections.

She is an elected artist member of the historic Salmagundi Club of New York, a master circle member of the International Association of Pastel Societies, and a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, Connecticut Pastel Society, and Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod.   She is also an associate member of Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society and a member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society.

She currently lives and works in upstate New York and spends part of each summer in Cape Cod, where she is represented by the Cortile Gallery in Provincetown.
